FRS win Midlands 103 Award for Best Recruitment Agency 2022
FRS Recruitment has won the Midlands 103 Customer Service Award for Best Recruitment Agency 2022. The award was presented at a ceremony at the luxurious Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise on July 4. FRS Recruitment went up against some other notable entries who had been shortlisted for the prizes, and we were lucky enough to come out on top in our category on the night.
Two of our Recruiters, Gerry Farrell and John Miller, donned the suits and attended the event, and were thrilled to accept the award on behalf of the business. This is the second time FRS Recruitment have won this award, having previously picked up the honour in 2019. We caught up with Gerry and John who gave us an insight into the ceremony and what we missed out on!
Gerry filled us in on the reception for the event: “On arrival there was a drinks reception with an acoustic singer. People were dressed to impress with smiles on their faces and enjoying the nice summer’s evening that was on offer for this time of year. A Champagne reception was provided and the atmosphere was vibrant with everyone in good spirits.”
Our local lads were seated with other award winners on the night: Hugo Loonam Motors (Tullamore) and Novel-T Cakes (Moate), who also both picked up awards of their own. The awards were categorised based on a number of different industries: Motor, Hospitality, Retail, Beauty and Fitness, Accounting and Finance. FRS Recruitment were categorised in Services industry.
John summarised the atmosphere at the awards night, telling us about the excellent entertainment and hosting, which all added to the fun and excitement! Following a three-course meal, the awards ceremony got under way, with our category being announced right at the end – Gerry and John are convinced it was a case of “best ‘til last!” Both Gerry and John were thrilled when FRS Recruitment were called as the winners.
We are extremely proud of the commitment and enthusiasm of our team in the midlands. Receiving recognition at the Midlands 103 Customer Service Awards is a testament to the work our staff put in everyday for both our clients and our candidates.
