FRS Recruitment Sponsors Civic Engagement Scholarship at University of Limerick

February 18, 2025

Empowering Future Leaders Through Education and Volunteerism

FRS Recruitment is committed to supporting future leaders who make a meaningful impact in their communities. As part of this commitment, we were honoured to sponsor Aislinn Barnes as a recipient of the Civic Engagement Scholarship at the University of Limerick. This scholarship recognises students who demonstrate outstanding dedication to volunteerism, leadership, and civic responsibility.

Aislinn, a General Nursing student, has shown an exceptional passion for healthcare and giving back to the community. Reflecting on her journey, she shared:

"Having spent a large portion of my youth within hospitals for numerous procedures, heart surgeries, and treatments, I was profoundly inspired by the nursing staff. These individuals not only cared for me through illness but ensured I was comfortable and content. A key instance that sticks out to me was that of a young nurse taking the time to braid my hair, ensuring I felt good about myself. This is the nurse I aspire to become."

Through the scholarship, FRS Recruitment is helping Aislinn focus on her studies and alleviate financial pressures, allowing her to engage more deeply in both her education and volunteer work. She expressed her gratitude, stating:

"Your support plays a crucial role in helping students like me achieve our educational goals and pursue our dreams. This scholarship not only facilitates my academic journey but also enhances my ability to contribute positively to society."

We are incredibly proud to support Aislinn in her journey and look forward to seeing her continue to make a difference in the healthcare field and beyond. Congratulations, Aislinn, on this well-deserved recognition!
