FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced General & Finishing Supervisors / Foremen to join a leading Tier 1 Main Building Contractor, working across a number of major construction projects throughout Cork City and County.

We are seeking experienced General Supervisors and Finishing Supervisors / Foremen who have a strong background in large-scale building projects and are comfortable overseeing subcontractors, coordinating site activities and ensuring works are delivered to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established construction team, working on some of the largest and most interesting building projects in the Munster region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities across major building projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and general site operations effectively.
- Monitor project progress against construction programmes and deadlines.
- Ensure all works meet required quality and safety standards.
- Supervise general building works or internal finishing packages.
- Work closely with Site Managers, Engineers and Project Managers.
- Identify and resolve site issues to maintain project progress.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in a similar supervisory position.
- Previous experience with a Main Building Contractor in Ireland/UK.
- Strong background in commercial, pharmaceutical or large-scale building projects.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, programmes and quality standards.
- Strong communication, leadership and site management skills.
- Ability to work independently within a larger project delivery team.
- Relevant construction qualifications and site safety certifications desirable.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 DOE.
