The Opportunity

Working directly with farmers across Wexford, you will be responsible for developing and growing the customer base while providing expert support across a range of agricultural products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing farm customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities throughout the region.
• Provide practical on-farm advice and support across areas including feed, fertiliser, animal health and general farm inputs.
• Promote the company's extensive product portfolio and service offering.
• Manage customer accounts and identify opportunities for growth and increased market share.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer needs are responded to promptly.
• Work closely with management and internal support teams to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
• Achieve agreed sales and growth targets while developing long-term customer partnerships.
• Maintain accurate records and activity reporting using company systems.

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who possess a genuine passion for agriculture and a strong understanding of modern farming practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Agricultural qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong farming background with excellent knowledge of livestock and agricultural inputs.
• Previous field sales experience within the agri sector would be advantageous.
• Candidates currently working in agri retail, merchants, feed sales, co-ops, or agricultural support roles looking to progress into external sales are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Full clean driving licence.
