FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of Workshop Floor Manager - Agri on behalf of our Client, who are a premier tractor dealership, servicing the Irish agri market and providing customers with solutions for running the most reliable, efficient and profitable agricultural operation, for nearly 50 years.
Location: South East Limerick
Working Days: Monday - Friday [9:00 - 6:00]. Occasional Saturdays During Peak Season
Job Function:
Coordinate and direct the day to day service workload within the workshop to enable maximum efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supervise daily workloads for service technicians to ensure optimal productivity
- Act as the primary point of contact for technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical oversight
- Monitor job progress and ensure repairs are completed to machinery standards and within agreed timeframes
- Conduct quality checks on completed work and ensure compliance with safety and warranty procedures
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of components
- Maintain workshop discipline, safety standards, and a clean working environment
- Support technician development through coaching, mentoring, and identifying training needs
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the Service Manager or support team
- Ensure accurate documentation of repairs, diagnostics, and parts usage
- Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure efficient workflow, clear communication, and alignment with service targets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as a Service Technician - MUST BE AGRI.
- Ability to lead others.
- High level of communication and human relations.
- Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
