Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Evening Shift
Location: Newcastle West, Limerick
Job Type: Full Time (Mon - fri 5pm - 2am)
Salary: €16.00 per hour
Please note this role will start as a 3-month temporary role with a view to permanency for the right candidate.
Ideally, our customer is looking for a person close to the vicinity of Newcastle West Limerick, or 20/25 minutes commute
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Loading goods for dispatch in a safe and timely manner.
- Moving stock using pallet trucks, forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
- Storing products in designated locations and maintaining organised stock areas.
- Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and free from hazards
- Meeting productivity and quality standards while maintaining accuracy.
- Reporting equipment faults, damaged stock, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not always essential.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move goods safely.
- Valid Forklift License desirable but not essential
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners is an advantage
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including shifts or weekends if required.
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new processes and follow company procedures
