Used Equipment & Machinery Manager
An established machinery business, based in Dublin 20 is seeking an experienced Used Equipment & Machinery Manager to take full ownership of the company’s used equipment and ageing stock function. This is a key commercial role responsible for maximising asset value, driving sales of used machinery, and supporting the wider sales and management teams with market insight and forecasting. The successful candidate will manage the entire used equipment lifecycle from a estblished office based in Dublin 20 — from valuation and repair assessment through to promotion, sale, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

Promote the sale of all used equipment and ageing stock

Inspect, value, and accurately record all used equipment

Maintain and manage a comprehensive database of used equipment stock

Own and manage the full used equipment process

Attend auctions and industry events where used equipment is promoted or traded

Purchase used equipment when required

Estimate residual values for new machines sold by the business

Liaise with suppliers on used equipment initiatives and issues

Act as an internal point of reference on used equipment for sales teams and management

Manage the sale and promotion of used equipment across relevant online platforms

Manage and contribute to the company’s sales forecasting process
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required

Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical machinery sales

Proven experience in valuing machinery(essential)

Strong organisational and administrative skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
