Our client, a well-established supplier within the building materials sector, is seeking an experienced Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join their busy team in Dublin West.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and has previous experience within a builders' merchants or trade counter setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to trade and retail customers.
- Process sales and orders accurately.
- Provide product advice and recommendations.
- Handle customer enquiries both in person and over the phone.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked trade counter.
- Work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working on a trade counter or within a builders' merchants.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and hardware products.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer and administration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organised and a strong team player.
