Trade Counter Assistant – Cork
Permanent | Monday–Friday | 7am–4pm
FRS Recruitment is recruiting a Trade Counter Assistant for a well-established and growing supplier to the construction and building materials sector in Cork.
This is primarily a trade counter and sales role – approximately 65% sales/customer focused and 35% warehouse.

Trade counter sales and customer service
-
Meet and deal directly with trade customers

Handle sales enquiries by phone and email

Take and process customer orders

Build relationships with regular customers

Support the external sales team

Assist with stock control and sales administration

Pick and prepare orders for collection and delivery

Load and unload deliveries
-
Support customer collections
-
Operate counterbalance and high-reach forklifts
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have experience in trade counter sales, builders merchants, construction supplies, hardware, roofing, plumbing/heating or building materials.
- Current counterbalance and high-reach forklift licences are required.
