The Role
We’re on the lookout for an energetic, hands-on Trade Counter Assistant who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be the face of the business supporting trade and retail customers, offering advice, and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving customers at the trade counter with a friendly, professional approach
- Assisting with product selection, orders, and enquiries
- Keeping the counter and showroom organised and fully stocked
- Supporting day-to-day operations across the counter and warehouse
- Learning the product range and providing confident, accurate advice
- Contributing to a positive, team-driven environment
About You
- 1–2 years’ experience in retail or a customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills and a great attitude
- Eager to learn and grow within the construction sector
- A team player with the ability to use your own initiative
- Interest in building materials or trade products is a bonus
