Technical Sales Representative – Building Services

Connacht Region | Full-Time | Field-Based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Technical Sales Representative to join a leading business within the Building Services sector.

Covering the Connacht region, the successful candidate will work closely with consultants, specifiers, M&E contractors, and specialist merchants to secure specifications and develop project opportunities from design stage through to completion.

This is an ideal role for a motivated sales professional with strong technical understanding and experience within construction or building products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and convert new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects
• Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and merchants
• Manage and maintain a strong project pipeline through CRM
• Deliver technical presentations, CPDs, and on-site support
• Interpret drawings and regulations to recommend suitable solutions
• Negotiate and achieve profitable sales growth

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales within construction/building products
• Strong commercial and relationship management skills
• Proven track record in sales growth and specification sales
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Full clean driving licence
• CRM and Office 365 experience essential
