About the Role
FRS Recruitment is seeking an AgNav Sustainability & Engagement Administrator to support the delivery and continued development of AgNav, the sustainability platform developed in partnership by Bord Bia, Teagasc and ICBF.
Working closely with Bord Bia’s Agri Sustainability team and AgNav partners, the successful candidate will support farmers, processors, advisors and other stakeholders in the effective use of the platform.
This is a varied role combining agriculture, sustainability, stakeholder engagement, digital support and data analysis. AgNav-specific training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding of AgNav users, including access, permissions and farmer consent processes.
- Act as a single point of contact for processor administrative requests.
- Manage data/reporting requests, supplier lists and account or access queries.
- Deliver training, demonstrations and ongoing support to farmers and other platform users.
- Engage with farmers, processors, advisors and industry stakeholders to encourage platform adoption, respond to queries and gather feedback.
- Attend farm visits, workshops and industry events in support of AgNav engagement when required.
- Liaise with the AgNav helpdesk, technical teams and partners to resolve user and platform issues.
- Analyse sustainability data and support verification, reporting and stakeholder requirements.
- Contribute to AgNav developments, including platform testing, user guidance, training materials and stakeholder communications.
Candidate Requirements
- Good understanding of Irish agriculture and farm practices.
- Knowledge of agricultural sustainability and relevant farm sustainability metrics.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence engaging with farmers and industry representatives.
- Experience delivering training, presentations or workshops.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A proactive and practical approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Desirable:
- Experience in agricultural advisory, sustainability or agri-food roles; digital agriculture or sustainability platforms; sustainability data/reporting; Power BI; or stakeholder communications.
- A relevant qualification in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Agri-Business or a related discipline would be desirable.
- A full driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally will be required.
- The successful candidate will be employed by FRS and will work closely with Bord Bia and the wider AgNav partnership.
