My client, a leading Supply Chain Management organisation, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join their team at a client site in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain or procurement professional with proven leadership experience to take ownership of a busy onsite operation. You'll be responsible for leading a dedicated team, managing day-to-day supply chain activities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The Role

As the Supply Chain Lead, you will oversee all aspects of the onsite supply chain and storeroom operation, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, procurement activities, reporting, and team performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the onsite supply chain team, fostering a positive, high-performing working environment.
  • Managing daily storeroom operations, including inventory control, stock accuracy, cycle counting and inventory optimisation initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with client stakeholders and engineers to ensure efficient stock availability and service delivery.
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures and company standards.
  • Monitoring and delivering against agreed KPIs while maintaining exceptional levels of accuracy and service.
  • Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for both internal management and the client.
  • Managing supplier engagement and supporting procurement activities as required.
  • Resolving invoice queries and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining site SOPs while ensuring mandatory training compliance across the team.
  • Supporting purchasing activities when required and providing operational support across the wider programme.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong background in procurement, supply chain or materials management.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
  • Experience managing customer or client relationships in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong ERP systems experience, including SAP, Ariba, EAM or similar platforms.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment is advantageous.
