Supervising Pharmacist – Ennis, Co. Clare
34-hour contract - 4 days per week - Alternate weekends off
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Supervising Pharmacist to join a well-established pharmacy team in Ennis.
This is a busy community pharmacy requiring a confident pharmacist who can lead a large team of Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants while delivering a safe, efficient and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the dispensary in line with all legal, professional and PSI requirements.
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing and delivery of medicines.
- Lead, support and develop a large pharmacy team.
- Manage monthly submissions to the Payment Boards and follow up on rejected claims.
- Build strong relationships with customers and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain high standards of customer care and pharmacy operations.
The Ideal Candidate
- PSI-registered and qualified to practise in Ireland.
- Three-plus years' pharmacy experience.
- Experience in a high-volume dispensing environment.
- Strong leadership and business acumen.
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Qic Script experience is desirable.
- Previous experience managing Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants is an advantage.
