Supermarket Manager - Co. Clare
The role will be varied, but the main duties include:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive environment for customers, suppliers, and staff.
- Ensure high store presentation standards, effective merchandising, and accurate Point of Sale management.
- Communicate and uphold company operating standards across all departments.
- Support Fresh Food Department performance alongside the Fresh Food Manager.
- Oversee stock control, ordering processes, and quarterly stocktakes.
- Manage budgets, wages, and department overheads to achieve targets.
- Lead, motivate, and develop junior management and staff through regular communication and meetings.
- Work with the management team to achieve sales, gross profit, and net profit goals.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and store-wide operational standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and encourage ongoing professional development.
