Shop Manager – Charity Garden Centre - Dublin 4
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shop Manager to join a Charity Garden Centre in Dublin 4.
The Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Garden Centre whilst motivating and encouraging staff and volunteers to help to achieve sales targets.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Garden Centre in the context of an agreed work plan and to agreed financial targets.
- Assist in training, supervising and managing staff, both paid and voluntary.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times, including answering queries and giving advice and guidance on product selection where required.
- To complete all administration and financial work in accordance with Enable Ireland Policies and Procedures.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working in the retail sector.
- Retail Management Experience
- Ability to achieve Sales Targets
- Strong Commercial experience.
- Fiscal management; a significant interest in gardening
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience dealing with members of the public.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar type of role.
- Experience of stock management procedures.
