Retail Store Manager - Co. Donegal
This role is responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service, strong team leadership and development, stock control and merchandising whilst delivering sales growth in-store transactions.
Branch Manager Responsibilities:
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve store targets by motivating and leading high-performing retail teams.
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and smooth running of the shop floor.
- Monitor budgets, sales performance, and expenses, analyse results, and implement actions to improve profitability.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management to build a productive and customer-focused team.
- Control stock management, merchandising, pricing, and promotions, using sales trends to maximise revenue and minimise waste.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.
Skills / Competencies
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong numeracy and communication skills, with the ability to handle reports, sales data, and customer interactions professionally.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive business information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in stock control, pricing, and reporting.
- Proven ability to organise workloads, manage time effectively, and take initiative in daily operations.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and retail systems such as POS, SharePoint, and inventory management tools.
