This role will suit candidates coming from an office/administration background. While experience in dealing with animal health or a veterinary setting is not essential is it advantageous.

Full-time, 35 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch)
Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Control Person to join our Animal Health department. This is a key role within a team of three full-time staff, responsible for ensuring accurate stock management and supporting efficient operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities
• Stock Management:
o Monitor stock levels and reorder stock as required
o Complete accurate monthly stock takes
o Record and manage batch numbers, expiry dates, and traceability information for animal health products
o Maintain organised and compliant storage areas in line with internal procedures
• Administrative Support & Teamwork:
o Work collaboratively with the existing team and provide cover for other roles when needed
o Participate in cross-training across the department
ï‚§ Order processing
ï‚§ Veterinary script processing
ï‚§ Store operations: packing and dispatching customer orders
o Assist with general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the department
Requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy – essential due to handling animal medication and batch records
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn internal systems
• Veterinary experience is not required, although experience in stock control, warehousing, or administration is beneficial
