The Role
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will promote dignity, respect, and compassion in all aspects of care, while upholding professional standards and contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver care that upholds the dignity, privacy, and individuality of each resident.

Act as a Named Nurse, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed accurately and maintained to a high standard.

Develop positive relationships with residents, families, and visitors, offering support and reassurance, including during times of bereavement.

Ensure organisational policies, procedures, and care standards are understood and consistently followed by staff.

Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records in line with legislative and organisational requirements.

Safely manage the administration, storage, and control of medications in accordance with policy.
-
Demonstrate awareness of national quality and regulatory standards and actively participate in inspection processes.

Coordinate resident admissions in line with established procedures, ensuring all required documentation is completed.

Liaise with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
Requirements
-
First-level nursing qualification.

Active registration on the NMBI live register.

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Sound clinical judgement and decision-making ability.

Self-motivated with the ability to lead and support colleagues.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Committed to delivering high standards of care and achieving positive outcomes.
