FRS Recruitment is partnering with an integrated care hub in Galway to recruit a Staff Nurse – Cardiology on a relief basis (3 months, with potential extension). In this role, you will deliver cardiac rehabilitation and community-based care, providing person-centred nursing, early intervention, and support for self-management for patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care between hospital and community, supporting transitional care, and contributing to reduced hospital admissions.
This role also includes maintaining professional standards, participating in clinical audit, ongoing professional development, and ensuring safe, evidence-based nursing practice. You will be a key part of an integrated care model, helping deliver high-quality cardiac care closer to home.
Role Details:
- Position: Staff Nurse – Cardiology Services
- Location: Galway
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday, flexible approach
- Salary: €37,788–€56,032 LSI
- Requirements: Registered with NMBI with current PSAC, significant post-registration experience in cardiac nursing, full clean Irish driving license, access to transport, and flexibility for community visits.
