Our client, a leading food manufacturer in Co. Kildare, is seeking a Specification Technologist to support NPD, Technical and Compliance teams. This role suits a detail‑driven food science professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Procurement and suppliers to ensure all raw materials meet customer Codes of Practice and site requirements.
- Act as a key customer contact for specification queries.
- Generate Product Information Sheets and calculate nutritional data for new and existing products.
- Maintain internal trackers for specification control and completion.
- Support NPI and NPD to ensure all products are safe, legal and customer‑compliant.
- Assist with raw material and finished product specifications in internal systems.
- Review and approve labels and customer artwork; generate accurate pack copy.
• Do you have a Degree in Food Science, Science, Culinary Science or related discipline?
• Do you have 6 months experience as a Specification Technologist?
• Are you living in Ireland and eligible to work a 40 hour week? Stamp 2 visas not applicable.
