Social Care Leader Vacancy
We are seeking a dedicated Social Care Leader to join a Children and young people's residential service in Killarney, Co. Kerry. This role involves creating a therapeutic environment through relationship-building and positive attachment development.
21 hrs per week, contract position

As part of the social care team, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive, trauma informed care. Your responsibilities will include direct work with children and young people, household activities, administrative tasks, ongoing professional development, and ensuring health and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives by fostering supportive, therapeutic relationships and contributing to their overall well-being.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Children & Families Service or a similar challenging environment
- Registered with the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU
- Hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence required)
- Own transport
