The Role
As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out using Total Station and GPS equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate site records and as-built information.
- Coordinate subcontractors and daily site activities.
- Assist with programme management and project planning.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team and client representatives.
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor.
- Strong setting out experience.
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings and site procedures.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full driving licence.
