FRS Recruitment are working with an established Civil Engineering Contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer for projects across Limerick and West Cork.
The company has a strong pipeline of work across the Munster region, delivering major water, wastewater and civil infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking to take on greater responsibility while developing further exposure to elements of Project Management and Project Co-ordination. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams throughout project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out, levels and engineering checks.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour and daily site activities.
- Support Project Managers with planning and project delivery.
- Review drawings, specifications and relevant technical information.
- Maintain accurate site records and engineering documentation.
- Assist with quality control and project compliance requirements.
- Liaise with site teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Support safe and efficient delivery of site works.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
- 2+ years' relevant civil engineering experience, ideally in Ireland or the UK
- Strong setting out and general site engineering experience.
- Total Stations & GPS experience are highly desirable.
- Water, wastewater or utilities experience would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and site co-ordination skills required.
- Full Irish driving licence required
