Site Engineer (Civils)

Our client has continued to expand its presence within the Leinster infrastructure market and, due to a growing portfolio of secured work, is now looking to appoint a Site Engineer for projects across Meath and Louth.
The successful candidate will join a delivery team working on a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes for local authorities. Works typically include active travel developments, road and junction upgrades, bridge enhancement projects, public realm improvements, drainage installations, utility diversions and associated earthworks.
The company has a strong pipeline of upcoming projects throughout the region, with individual contracts generally running for over a year in duration. This provides engineers with the opportunity to gain exposure to all stages of project delivery while developing strong technical and management experience.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of civil engineering projects on site
- Carry out setting out using Total Stations and GPS equipment
- Monitor works to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel daily
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
- Liaise with project management and design teams
- Support quality control and inspection activities
- Ensure health and safety procedures are maintained
- Assist with programme tracking and project delivery
- Participate in site meetings and stakeholder coordination
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years' experience on civil engineering projects
- Experience working on roads, drainage or infrastructure schemes
- Strong setting out experience essential
- Experience with Total Stations and GPS highly desirable
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full Irish driving licence
