Service Manager – Blackrock – Disability Sector - €57,000 - €69,000 DOE

FRS Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Service Manager to join a leading disability service based in Dublin. This service aims to ensure that all individuals using the service live their best possible life and have valued roles in their families and communities. It believes in the development of meaningful partnerships which empowers and engages people through involvement and collaboration.

In your new role you will:

  • Manage the service effectively, utilizing resources and aligning with the objectives set by the Regional Manager.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the roster, informed by operational needs, service requirements, and knowledge of the Human Rights-Based Approach to Disability.
  • Provide clear leadership to the operational, nursing, senior support, general support, and frontline teams and conduct regular 1:1 meeting, providing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and supporting personal and professional development.
  • Support individuals to create and maintain valued roles within their families, neighbourhoods, and communities.
  • Work with the Regional Clinical Partner to manage clinical and care issues for better outcomes for service users.
  • Monitor and implement actions arising from audit reports to improve service delivery.

To be a successful candidate you will have:

  • A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care and CORU registration.
  • A recognised Managerial Qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • A minimum 3 years’ Supervisory Experience within the Healthcare sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships internally and externally.
