SENIOR OR STAFF GRADE PODIATRIST/CHIROPODIST
The FRS Allied Health Team is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Podiatrist to join a well-established Disease Management Service supporting adult patients across Sligo.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, evidence-based clinical environment, delivering high-quality podiatry care with a strong focus on diabetic foot management. The successful candidate will primarily be based in Sligo Town, with some travel required to Ballyshannon.
Location:
Sligo (with travel to Ballyshannon)
Contract:
Full-Time, Temporary Fixed-Term (Contract to be reviewed every 3 months)
Salary:
€44,000 – €75,000 (DOE, aligned with HSE scale)
Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive podiatry assessment and treatment to adult patients

Provide specialist care for patients with diabetes and high-risk foot conditions

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure best-practice outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
Essential Requirements
-
Degree or Master’s qualification in Podiatry / Chiropody

CORU registration (essential)

Experience working in a similar clinical setting

Proven experience managing patients with diabetes

Full driving licence and access to own transport (due to travel requirement)
