Senior Yard Operative – North-East Galway
An established Agri/Construction Supplies business in the North-East Galway area is seeking to hire a Senior Yard Operative on a full-time, permanent basis. This role may also suit candidates based in bordering areas of Counties Roscommon and Mayo.

Working Hours 9:00am – 6:00pm
· Saturday work required (more than occasional)

Key Responsibilities
· Safe loading and unloading of lorries using a forklift
· Monitoring and managing goods inwards and outwards
· Maintaining the overall cleanliness and organisation of the yard
· Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory control
· Providing excellent customer service in the yard area
· Occasional van deliveries
· Preparing customer orders for dispatch
· Manual handling of products up to 25kg
· Adhering to all Health & Safety policies relating to storage, handling of goods, and use of machinery
Candidate Profile
· Previous experience in an Agri Supplies or Construction Supplies environment is an advantage
· Forklift experience and licence beneficial, but not essential
· Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, customer-focused team
· Strong work ethic with a proactive and reliable approach
