FRS Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Speech & Language Therapist for a Public hospital, working within an Older Persons Rehabilitation service on a 0.5 WTE basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SLT to join a supportive multidisciplinary team, working with older adults presenting with complex needs including dysphagia, communication, and cognitive-communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and intervention for patients with communication & swallowing disorders.
- Manage a complex caseload within an older persons rehabilitation setting
- Work collaboratively as part of an MDT
- Contribute to discharge planning and patient-centred care
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Speech & Language Therapy
- Registration with CORU
- Senior level experience, ideally within acute or rehabilitation settings
- Experience in dysphagia management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
