Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Mental Heath Service
I am delighted to be recruiting a Senior Speech and language Therapist who is passionate about patient-centered care and protecting and promoting mental health and psycho social wellbeing.
My client is a well established Mental Health facility and Nursing home based in South Dublin.
Locum position
Flexible working options/part time/full time
Hourly rate negotiable
Duties:
- Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Designing and implementing therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Providing therapy sessions to clients, both one-on-one and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques.
- Evaluating, monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborating with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- CORU registration
- 3 years post grad experience
- Mental Health experience
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and intervention
