Social Worker – CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join a Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), supporting young people and families within a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.
We are seeking applications from Senior Social Workers for a full time position based in North Dublin.
Location:
Dublin North
Contract:
• Initial 6-month contract (with potential for extension)
Salary:
• €71k – €82k (pro rata, depending on experience)
Working Pattern:
• 1.0 WTE (FullTime)
Essential Qualifications
- Recognised professional Social Work qualification
- Registration with CORU
- Previous experience in a similar setting is highly desirable
- 3 years post qualification experience working with children and families
- Experience of working within the area of mental health prefferable
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Experience working with children and young people presenting with mental health difficulties and developmental conditions
• Strong skills in assessment of young people and family systems
• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Sound knowledge of legislation, policy, and best practice relating to children and young people
