I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced HR Generalist / HR People Partner to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with a strong generalist foundation who is ready to step into a more autonomous, standalone HR role with broad exposure and real opportunity to grow.
Working closely with leadership, you will act as a trusted HR partner, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping to drive positive people initiatives across the business.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, hands-on HR role suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational HR with employee engagement, coaching managers, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will have a couple of years’ HR generalist experience and be eager to take on greater ownership in a role where they can continue developing their HR career.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters, people management, and HR best practice
- Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management, probation, and performance processes
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
- Maintain accurate HR documentation, records, and systems
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and people-focused initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and policies
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries across the business
About You
- 2+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of HR responsibilities
- Confident supporting managers with day-to-day people matters
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
- CIPD qualification or working towards desirable
