Senior Cardiac Physiologist – Contract Role

Location: Kilkenny, Ireland

FRS Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified Cardiac Physiologist for an exciting contract opportunity in Kilkenny.

The Role

You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality cardiac diagnostic services, supporting clinical decision-making and ensuring excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cardiac diagnostic investigations in line with clinical protocols and best practice.

• Undertake relevant investigations, including ECGs, Holter monitoring and echocardiography, appropriate to your experience and scope of practice.

• Work collaboratively with cardiologists, medical professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinical governance and patient safety standards.

• Contribute to an efficient, patient-centred cardiac physiology service.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Cardiac Physiology or a recognised equivalent.

• Appropriate clinical experience in cardiac physiology.

• Recognition by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Physiology (IICMP), in line with the requirements for the position.

• Strong clinical, organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Current permission to work in Ireland is essential.
