Sales Administrator
The Sales Administrator will play a key role in supporting the sales function by ensuring the accurate processing of orders, maintaining sales data, and providing excellent customer service. This role also requires flexibility to support other administrative areas of the business when needed.
This is a Tuesday to Saturday role, working 7:30am to 4:30pm each week.
Flexibility is required to provide cover across other administrative functions as needed
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration
- Receive, verify, and process sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and issue all required documentation for production and dispatch teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer data
- Generate sales reports, track key metrics, and support data analysis
- Act as a point of contact between customers and internal departments (e.g. logistics, finance)
- Set up new products on internal systems and communicate details to production teams
- Update product information and notify relevant stakeholders of any changes
- Prepare costing calculations and spreadsheets to support price or cost changes
- Attend internal meetings as required
- Provide reception cover when required, including answering phones and opening gates

- Tuesday to Saturday
- 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Flexibility required to support other administrative areas when necessary
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience using AS400 or similar ERP systems (desirable)
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with a structured and disciplined approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability
- Ability to accurately record, interpret, and analyse data
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
