The Role
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the regional growth strategy, expanding both existing client relationships and new business opportunities across local and national markets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy:
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on sustainable, profitable growth
• Identify and win new business opportunities across key sectors
• Drive retention and growth within the existing client base through cross-selling and up selling
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
Sales Leadership:
• Lead from the front on high-value opportunities, client meetings, and negotiations
• Manage the full sales life cycle from prospecting through to conversion
• Deliver on ambitious revenue targets and maintain a strong, active pipeline
• Ensure accurate forecasting and performance reporting
Client & Market Development:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and key stakeholders
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored insurance solutions
• Represent the business in the market through networking and industry engagement
Team & Office Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Navan office
• Support, mentor, and develop team members to maximise performance
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements (CBI, CPC, GDPR)
• Maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, and audit readiness
About You
• Minimum 5 year's experience within an insurance broker or insurer environment
• Strong track record in sales and business development
• Excellent industry network and market knowledge
• Skilled relationship builder with strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Commercially focused with the ability to identify and deliver solutions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and leading a team
