The Intreo Partner of National Employment Services (IPNES) contract is delivered by Turas Nua, the Irish employability services provider. Turas Nua is an Irish employability services provider, wholly owned by FRS Network, an Irish cooperative social enterprise, which has been delivering services to Irish communities since 1980.
ABOUT DEPARTMENT
Our Operations Team support clients through a progression journey towards employment. Our teams provide one-to-one support to clients while coordinating interventions to tackle any barriers to employment.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
To act as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and staff, delivering a warm, professional, and efficient front-of-house experience. This role is key to creating a welcoming environment while supporting the smooth running of daily office operations.
PERSON PROFILE
We are seeking a professional, approachable, and highly organised individual to join our team as a Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, representing the company with warmth and efficiency. They will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet all clients and staff with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage visitor arrival and direct guests to appropriate contacts or meeting rooms
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area
- Handle incoming calls and emails, redirecting queries as needed
- Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared and presentable
- Support coordination of client visits, interviews, and internal events
- Liaise with facilities and vendors for reception-related needs
- Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and packages
- Maintain stock levels for reception and communal areas (e.g. stationery, refreshments)
- Assist with basic data entry, filing, and document handling
- Provide ad-hoc support to other departments when required
- Monitor visitor access and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Uphold GDPR and confidentiality standards
- Report any safety or security concerns to management promptly
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a receptionist, host, or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
