Reporting to: Technical Processing Engineer

An opportunity is available for a Raw Material Operator to support laboratory, production and raw material operations.

The role requires a reliable, safety-conscious and organised individual with the ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connecting, offloading and completing paperwork and Goods Receipts for bulk tankers.

  • Offloading, storing, labelling and completing Goods Receipts for IBCs and coils.

  • Supporting production with activities including MDI blending, chemical IBC replacement and staging, and bulk chemical transfers.

  • Liaising with external hauliers regarding delivery schedules where required.

  • Carrying out daily sample cutting and testing and recording results on the relevant system.

  • Calibrating pumps and laboratory equipment and recording results.

  • Assisting with laboratory TPM activities, including filter cleaning and pump room checks.

  • Maintaining accurate stock levels in SAP, including weekly and month-end checks.

  • Maintaining good housekeeping across the laboratory, pump room, tank farm and coil storage areas.

  • Working to SOP, health and safety requirements and site procedures.

  • Completing Lab Operator duties to a high standard and undertaking other appropriate duties as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid forklift licence – essential.

  • Strong team-player with a hardworking and dependable approach.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions.

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.

  • Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

  • Commitment to health, safety and housekeeping standards.

Training

Training will be provided in areas including SAP Goods Receipt, chemical spill response, chemical identification, pump room and tank farm operations, and relevant laboratory and site procedures.
