Quantity Surveyor / Estimator (Structural Steel)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in the structural steel industry for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering a wide range of structural steel projects.

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions
✔ Reviewing drawings and specifications
✔ Pricing projects and preparing cost plans
✔ Sourcing and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
✔ Monitoring project costs and managing variations
✔ Assisting with contract administration and final accounts
✔ Working closely with project teams to ensure commercial success

What We're Looking For

✔ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar
✔ Experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimating within construction
✔ Structural steel experience is highly desirable
✔ Strong Excel and estimating software skills
✔ Ability to read technical drawings
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
