Quality Technician
I am working with a well-established manufacturing client seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to support production and ensure high standards across all stages of the process.
This is a key role within the quality and operations team, offering strong exposure to inspection, compliance and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet specification
- Conduct regular floor audits to ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain production standards
- Complete First Article Inspection reports and support new product introductions
- Manage non-conformance's, including documentation and root cause analysis
- Maintain accurate scrap records and support quality reporting
- Oversee calibration schedules and ensure measurement equipment is maintained
Requirements
- Strong ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
- Experience with manual measurement tools and CMM equipment (Zeiss or Aberlink advantageous)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments
- Experience with ERP or QMS systems and strong Excel skills
