A leading food manufacturing business in Co. Kildare is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the site Quality & Food Safety function. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving food safety, compliance, continuous improvement, and customer standards across a busy manufacturing operation.

We are looking for a strong people leader with proven Quality Management experience within the Irish food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, motivate and develop the site Quality/Technical team
• Represent Quality at senior management and group level

Quality Systems & Compliance

• Lead and maintain site HACCP and TACCP programmes
• Manage the Quality Management System and internal audit programme
• Ensure compliance with BRC, customer, retailer and regulatory standards
• Lead all external audits including customer, BRC and regulatory audits
• Drive CAPA and root cause investigations for quality non-conformances

Customer & Supplier Management

• Manage customer complaints, technical queries and investigations
• Represent the business in customer technical meetings and site visits
• Oversee supplier approval, supplier audits and supplier performance reviews

Testing / Validation / Improvement

• Oversee traceability, quarantine and shelf-life programmes

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Food Science or related discipline
• 3–5+ years’ Quality Management experience within Irish food manufacturing
• Previous people management / team leadership experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP and food safety legislation
• Experience leading customer and regulatory audits
