FRS Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing organisation in the healthcare sector that is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join its finance team based at its Dublin 24 headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to take the next step in their career within a structured, multi-entity environment.
The Role
Reporting to senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate/resolve variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Support internal and external audit processes, including liaison with auditors
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal controls
- Prepare and submit statutory returns (VAT and other filings as required)
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE)
- Experience working within a large or multi-entity organisation
- Exposure to ERP systems
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Background in healthcare or another regulated environment
- Experience within a multi-entity or group structure
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Navision or similar accounting systems
