Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Property Specialist Journalist to join a leading Agri media organization. This role involves researching, compiling, and writing property-related content for print, online, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Irish property market, particularly rural areas, and an ability to deliver engaging, accurate, and insightful articles.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and produce high-quality property and finance articles for multiple platforms.
- Monitor property market trends and pitch relevant stories.
- Lead the annual Land Report, including data analysis and content creation.
- Build strong relationships with auctioneers and estate agents nationwide.
- Develop innovative approaches for property coverage across digital channels.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to plan and manage content.
- Represent the publication at industry events and media engagements.
- Ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish property market and rural land use.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Digital media skills, including video and online content.
- Third-level qualification in journalism, agriculture, financial planning, or property.
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel nationally.
