Project Planner (Dublin)
FRS Recruitment, working closely with our client – a strong specialist subcontractor, is seeking a Project Planner to join their growing team in Dublin.
Our client delivers projects across a wide range of industries including commercial developments, pharmaceutical facilities, data centres, logistics centres, mixed-use schemes, sports infrastructure and bridge projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with project delivery teams, supporting the planning and scheduling of projects from pre-construction through to completion. This position offers excellent exposure to major construction projects and the opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers, engineers and commercial teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project programmes across live projects
- Prepare contract and construction schedules
- Produce monthly progress reports and programme updates
- Monitor project milestones and programme performance
- Identify programme risks and propose mitigation measures
- Support tender planning and pre-construction activities
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and site teams
- Coordinate planning information with subcontractors and stakeholders
- Review construction methodologies and sequencing strategies
- Assist with continuous improvement of planning processes
Requirements
- Relevant third-level qualification in Construction, Engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years' planning experience within construction, ideally within the Irish or UK industry
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Power BI and reporting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience on structural steel, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects desirable
