FRS Recruitment are working with a well-established specialist construction contractor to recruit a Project Planner for their growing team based in Kilkenny.
The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of complex pharmaceutical and data centre projects across Ireland, working closely with project managers, site teams, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered in line with programme objectives.
This position offers a hybrid working model, with approximately two to three days working from home each week and occasional travel to project sites in Cork and Dublin.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress and update programmes throughout delivery.
- Identify programme risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with Project Managers and site teams.
- Prepare progress reports and programme updates for stakeholders.
- Assist with planning from pre-construction through project completion.
- Review programme performance against key project milestones.
- Support resource planning and sequencing of construction activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience in a Project Planning role, ideally within Ireland/UK
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 is essential.
- Experience on pharmaceutical or data centre projects desirable.
- Experience within the Irish/UK construction industry highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full Irish driving licence.
