FRS Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Project Manager to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects across the Midlands.
A well-established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation throughout Ireland, our client has secured a strong pipeline of work across the region. Current projects include significant electrical and utilities works, service station developments, roadworks, drainage infrastructure, commercial projects and associated civil engineering works.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of projects from initial planning through to completion, working closely with site teams, engineers, subcontractors and the wider management team.
Projects are located throughout the Midlands, with Laois acting as the operational hub. The position will be a strong mixture of office and site, combined with regular site visits depending on the stage and requirements of individual projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage civil engineering projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project programmes, budgets and key delivery milestones
- Oversee ESB, utilities and associated infrastructure works
- Ensure projects meet quality and safety requirements
- Manage subcontractor performance and day-to-day site operations
- Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
- Resolve technical and operational issues throughout project delivery
Requirements
- Previous Project Management experience within civil engineering spaces in Ireland/UK
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Trade Background
- Strong experience in delivering infrastructure, groundworks and/or utilities projects
- Good commercial and project programming awareness
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities
- Full driving licence and flexibility to visit sites
- Experience managing multiple projects would be highly desirable
