PMO Support – National Education Programme

The Opportunity
Join a high-impact national programme delivering the Centralised Common Applications System (CAS) — a digital platform transforming how school admissions are managed across Ireland.
You’ll support programme delivery within the CIO Division, working with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders across the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate timelines, milestones, and deliverables across workstreams
- Maintain project documentation (plans, reports, risks, issues)
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder updates
- Track risks, dependencies, and support budget/procurement activities
- Support meetings, communications, and overall programme delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years’ experience in PMO / project support / coordination
- Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder skills
- Degree in a relevant field + certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)
- Public sector experience (nice to have)
Working Model
- Hybrid: minimum 2 days onsite per week
- Base: Tullamore, with travel to Athlone & Dublin
- Standard 8-hour day (within 08:00–19:00)
