Boning & Slaughter Line Team Leader
Location: Carlow| Permanent, Full-Time | €18–€19 per hour
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Boning & Slaughter Line Team Leader to join a busy meat processing operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing animal slaughter line activities, supporting the Line Supervisor and leading a team of approximately 30 employees. The successful candidate will also receive training in the Boning Hall, with genuine opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities

Work confidently across all animal slaughter line positions.

Lead, train and motivate a team to achieve production targets.

Support the Line Supervisor with daily operations, staff planning and team development.

Ensure carcasses meet required processing and quality standards.

Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements.

Promote teamwork, efficiency and high standards on the production floor.
Requirements

Proven experience processing animal carcasses.

Previous team leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, hygiene and Health & Safety.

Good English and strong Brazilian Portuguese are a bonus.

Excellent communication and people management skills.

Flexible, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
What's on Offer?

Approximate annual earnings of €37,440–€44,460, depending on hours worked.
