With over 25 years of success in Ireland and 140 staff across two Cork facilities, they are known for quality, reliability, and mission-critical support to blue-chip clients worldwide.
The Role
We are seeking a Production Planner to optimise production schedules, manage logistics, and drive efficiency across our manufacturing operations. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract, supporting operational growth and ensuring smooth, timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capacity
- Analyse production requirements, material availability, and logistics to optimise efficiency
- Coordinate inbound materials and outbound finished goods, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Use ERP systems to manage production, labour, inventory, and logistics activities with real-time accuracy
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and revenue targets; report trends and recommend corrective actions
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce lead times, cut costs, and enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimise production processes and maintain quality standards
- Adhere to safety-first principles and relevant industry regulations
About You
- Knowledge of industrial/commercial HVAC components and refrigeration systems (Air Cooled & Water Cooled)
- Strong organisational skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems and production/logistics planning
- Skilled in monitoring and reporting on KPIs
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication
