Job Title: Production Operative - Food Manufacturing
Location: Galway
Job Type: Full Time Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week, 1 hour unpaid lunch daily)
Salary: €15.00 per hour
On behalf of our client in Galway, we are seeking a food production operative to join their team. This role is suitable for candidates with previous food manufacturing experience and understanding of food safety.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
- Operating food production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Preparing, processing, and packaging food products according to company standards.
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations (such as HACCP procedures).
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas, equipment, and production lines.
- Maintaining accurate production and quality records.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Previous Experience in regulated RTE (Ready to Eat) food manufacturing
- Current HACCP training is required at a minimum
