Our client, based just outside Nenagh Co Tipperary, requires a highly organised Production / Operations Manager to take ownership of production planning, order flow and stock management, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and products are delivered on time.
What you'll be doing:
- Plan and prioritise production orders to meet customer deadlines.
- Coordinate workflow from production through to dispatch.
- Manage yarn stocks and order raw materials to support production.
- Build strong relationships with yarn and equipment suppliers.
- Oversee customer-specific labelling requirements.
- Respond to stock and product availability queries.
- Use the Intact ERP system to manage orders and inventory.
- Support the wider team with day-to-day operational activities and continuous improvement.
What they're looking for:
- Previous experience in a Production, Operations or Planning role within manufacturing.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and Outlook skills.
- Experience using an ERP system (Intact experience is an advantage).
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy manufacturing environment.
